The only company I knew of which was Guild Records was the label Georgie Auld
and Boyd Raeburn
recorded for in 1945.I believe the label was taken over by Musicraft when Albert
Marx was producing
sessions there.

Yet another name for this label..GUILD. I have a ten-inch LP of Ferde Grofe
conducting his "Aviation Suite" in a plain blue jacket with gold printing,
which names the title and composer and says GUILD RECORDS  33 1/3 RPM. The disc
inside has the Rem Hollywood label and LP-2 (as well as matrix numbers
1196-1197 and 1198-1199 in the land, indicating that the source was 78s cut at
Radio Recorders). Also, the label is a small 78 type and doesn't indicate the
speed. This piece probably sounded better at 78 anyway.
