Circling back to our War of the Worlds discussion from last week...

My new (well, new to me) copy of Invasion from Mars arrived in the mail
today.

The script as presented in the book does have Welles say, "the next best
thing," which suggests that it is not a transcript of the recording, but was
set from a copy of the script.

Incidentally, Carl Phillips's missing words from around the 15-minute mark
("Someone's crawling out of the hollow top.  Someone or...something") are
present in this book.
