[78-L] Mp3 revelation, one dollar LP bins, and thoughts on George Barnes

I'd heard of Barnes via the Steve Allen LP JAZZ FOR TONIGHT (Coral CRL
57018).  The one copy I have is trashed beyond playability, and I've never
seen another copy.  And oddly enough for a US Decca (or related) record,
this one was engineered by Rudy Van Gelder.
