[78-L] Basie's Li'l Darlin' ^

Kristjan,  I am no expert on Basie or anything else except maybe Sid Gary 
and Orville Knapp,  but I do recall the liner notes from a 1968 live album 
of Basie which has a fantastic version of Lil' Darlin,  and the notes say 
that the solo was "originally" played by Culley.

Hope that helps...I still don't have my speakers up and running so have been 
reduced to playing records rather than listening to things on the computer.
