[78-L] Layers of lacquer?

I know there were lacquer discs where the manufacturer identified a "good" side
and a "not so good" side.
Hey, has anyone ever run across a recycled disc where lacquer was applied over
a shellac 78? I have..the ancient Columbia "notes" label was starting to show
through.
