I don't imagine I'm all that much (or any) smarter or luckier than others,
but I rarely have ever had any problems on eBay. For the most part, I only
deal with people I trust, and rarely figure on getting some sort of a
bargain from an obvious amateur. I've been involved in some 10,000
transactions since 1999, and only a handful presented any problems which
weren't easily solved.
There is no way to really say that "eBay is this" or "eBay is that." It's a
big place with a lot going on at any one time...like Mark Hellinger's Naked
City, there are a "million stories" about ebay, many of which are very
good.
Fr sure there are some great sellers of records on there (who do know how to
pack!) and often some wonderful bargains to be had.
I mean...I've gotten food poisoning in restaurants a few times but I still
enjoy eating out most days!
