[78-L] G & S

This has nothing to do with 78s but is related to a recent posting.

G & S items have been well represented in all formats but the one item which I 
lament that I have never seen is the CD release of the 1957 Pirates, (OSA 
1202).  The later version with dialogue is a good recording in all respects but 
the magic of Jean Hindmarsh's performance of "Poor Wandering One" is 
insurpassable.  According to internet info, this set has been released by 
"Sounds on CD", which is a label I've never heard of.  This is described as an 
excellent transfer but it doesn't appear that they have anything to do with 
Decca so it is probably transferred from an existing LP copy, not master tapes.
