[78-L] "Super Record Score" on YouTube

Thank you, Glenn.

Furthermore, what's WRONG with buying a $200 record for $1 and reselling it? What do you think Kurt Nauck and every other record dealer out there does? I've bought lots of rare 78s for pennies on the dollar, even FREE. In fact, 98% of them have remained in my collection because first and foremost I enjoy collecting and playing 78s, but I've bought things many times that are of no interest to me for resale. Why? Because if I didn't SOMEBODY ELSE WOULD HAVE!

Geesh.

We all get excited when we find such records. Was it boasting or just pure excitement. He's just a newer generation that likes to post his thoughts out loud on the internet and using video. So my most recent exciting find was to find Sharlie English on Paramount, 12610, for a similarly small sum. Yes, I'm excited, partly because it's great to listen to and partly because I would likely never buy it knowing what I would have to pay if I had to compete with the rest of the world for it. So it's exciting to find an "expensive" record for nearly nothing - and what makes it "expensive" is that it is desirable to have for its content (not for discographical reasons).
