The catalog I have is from 1946.  It covers the range of records from 4002 to 5069.  From 5056 to 5069 it's all music.  Prior to that it was all sound effects.  The music is not listed as having any artists and all are listed as being in the public domain.  They were all intended as mood music, musical bridges, Christmas Carols, etc.  So nothing more listed by Bowles, at least not through 1946.

I have a Major Records catalog somewhere here.  I only remember seeing sound effects records listed though I could have missed this.  I'll see if I can track it down tonight and search for Paul Bowles.

5160-A is the disc I have with music by Paul Bowles..quite weird, "played and conducted by Max Marlin" by an ensemble consisting of a terrible violinist or two, a hammond organ (probably) and a few other instruments. "MOOD MUSIC--Pastoral or Dream Thematic Music with Menacing Undertones". If Bowles weren't actually an important American composer this would be a tosser. I wonder if there's any more music by him on Major? (The flip side is harp interludes.)
