> Greetings! Here are 3 RCA Victor Sample Records with pressings of the soundtrack from Snow White circa late 1937. They are from the same collection as the 1937 Fats Waller Sample Records, with the same 10 1/2" oversized trimming showing the lettering around the edge outside the lead-in groove. The backs are blank. You can view them at: http://78records.cdbpdx.com/SWSR/

Absolutely not! These are not in any way, shape, or form copies that
could possibly be used as DJ copies. There's no info on the labels that
could identify them to someone outside the Victor company, let alone a
DJ. How would they know what to announce???
No, these are test pressings for quality within the company. They would
be used to select which take to issue -- in this case they would be
checking on how cleanly the beginnings and ends of the cutting from the
soundtrack dub was -- as well as sound quality and the infamous "wear
test".
