That Continental suggestion deserved some research, since ML-1003 Sarah Vaughan with Gillespie/Parker
(Mean to me/What More...) was also from Continental.
A quick check of some Continental series revealed images of:
C-13003 MILTON LEWIS with Hymie Jacobson's Orchestra:
HS-3911 The Jew Sings (Der Yid Zingt) /
HS-3914 I'm Going Home (...).
Apparently the C-13000 series is Yiddish.
Last available image is 13006 MARY BURTON: HS-3916 A Yiddish Polka.
Note that Maple Leaf used a diff catnr: ML-16002.

I agree with Steven that label types 2 & 3 were produced by the same company,
as suggested by the manufacturer's name/address and font to print it.
The stroboscope label is very different, but has a similar xx-100 series cat.nr.

>>>Han kindly sent me the label scan..evidently Maple Leaf also had an ethnic series.
It is indeed "The Jew Sings" by Milton Lewis. No googling brought up the English title
but I did find a few links to "Der Yid Zingt". The words "electric process" appear on the label,
which suggests that this might have come from Continental which also used that term in the 40s.

This one is a Sparton pressing. I have a few Ruth Wallis and Billy Grey MLs from DeLuxe. And I know zilch about the label.

I have never seen the above label...?!

This would seem to be the Maple Leaf label that also pressed the
"ML-King" and "ML-DeLuxe." It would appear they were issuing sides
from one or more US labels per your list...?!

There wasn't, that far back, a significant Black population in Canada;
as well, most of what there was had come via "the underground
railroad" and settled in Ontario (around Chatham). There were a
number of Black people who had moved to the Montreal area
(i.e. Oscar Peterson) and DID have some interest in jazz (though
I tend to doubt much blues?). However, Maple Leaf hooked up
with King and DeLuxe; the former label issued a lot of c&w, but
the latter issued considerable jazz/blues...!
