Shouldn't be confusing at all!  The "London" label first appeared at the end
of 1947; all of its first releases were Dec(UK) recordings (including the
works of Mantovani!). In Canada (and possibly in the USA?!) they issued
a number of rock'n'roll "hits" on their other series, originally on various
"indie" labels that didn't have Canadian "branch plants!"

Once the label started to prosper, they set up recording facilities
in the US (and in Canada not too long thereafter).
