[78-L] Why I Hate LPs

Then what DO you like.  Except for #2 I don't understand any of these 
things as real dislikes. To answer yiur question #4 as to what Dynaflex 
was an alternative to, it was an alternative to the very noisy vinyl 
Victor was using (except on Red Seals and original casts) in the 60s 
which was also brittle and occasionally broke or shattered in shipping.  
The vinyl used was VERY high quality and extremely quiet, and to make it 
economical they made it thinner.  The first ones in 1969 were too thin 
so they did thicken them a bit afterwards, but the sound quality was 
greatly improved over the grainy crp the were using before.
