[78-L] Gene Deitch & Howdy-Doody + ME

This is a terrific film, and I can see why Smith hated it. Much too modern
for him, and what Gene did to Howdy! There are some scenes where the
freckles are missing. Horrors!!

I always preferred the WB cartoons over Deitch, but his work is starting to
grow on me big time in my old age. I would love to see his Terrytoons again.

I love hearing about something lost finally being found.
