I own a 10" vinyl disc recorded at 78 rpm. It seems to be part of a 2-record
set, demonstrating "stereo" vs. "quadraphonic"...the disc I own has mono
on one side and stereo on the other, giving me an actual stereo 78! The
record I am missing might(?) be a "quadrophonic" 78...?!
The idea seems to have been that 78 rpm recordings offered better
fidelity than did 45/33 rpm recordings?!
