[78-L] Who is William Robyn? - more answers

Robyn was one of the EDison and other p;ioneer artists who would come to the Edison Site in West Orange in the late 1970s for the "Evening With The Artists Programs" They were great and Willie and Gladys Rice and Douglas Stanbury and Edna White and Eva Taylor and MORE were there and were great. I have photos that I can share of Willie.

 

The sirte programs are available to purchase (they are fasconating with live performances" from Larry Tedder at www.americansoundarchives.com. He may have posted some of my photos there.

 

THe late Milford Fargo - who co-hosted these evenings with Ray Wile - did a presentation on Willie at a synagogue in Rochester NY in the 1980s. Merritt Malvern recorded it. I think Larry has that one too. WELL worth hearing.
