This is (Canadian) Crown 81140 and The Three Hawaiians is a pseudonym
for a Roy Smeck unit. Smeck plays the Hawaiian steel guitar. "Carolina
Moon" was recorded January 16, 1929 in New York City for the American
Record Corporation. It's premier label was Banner, and "Carolina Moon"
was released on Banner 6312. "Sunny Sunny June" was recorded on June 18,
1929 also in New York City, but it was initially released on Banner 6461.
Smeck was one of the five major steel guitarists of his day, along with
Frank Ferera, Andy Sannella, Bennie Nawahi and Sol Hoopii. Google him
for further info.

Does anyone have any information they can help me out with? The label is black, or possibly a very dark blue with gold lettering, there is a domed crown with one point above the word crown in an uppercase seriph font. The number is 81140, the artists "The Three Hawaiians" and the titles are "Carolina Moon" on the A side and "Sunny Sunny June" on the B side.
