Billy Crystal credits his Uncle Milt for being the first to put full
credits on the labels, but Billy was pointing to a red label Commodore
at the time. But it does make more sense to credit Milt Gabler's
practice to his earlier UHCA releases. But as far as crediting John
Hammond for bringing the practice to Columbia, you might need to check
what the earliest ones are because George Avakian is on a jihad to
correct production credits on the albums he did but Hammond took credit
for.
