“I checked my copy and the red Columbia says 'A Jazz Masterwork' just
to the left of the spindle hole. Reissue?”

“A Jazz Masterwork” was Columbia’s equivalent of Victor’s Swing 
Classic,” which appears on scroll, round gold, and silver releases. The 
Columbia theme only applied to records that had a jazz (swing) 
component to them. I don’t know about any Columbia reissues that use 
this theme since all my copies are original issue
