According to news reports online, the hotel had 10 feet of water in it, and the Opryhouse was flooded but the extent of the damage is unknown. At the museum, "no exhibits are in danger" but the mechanical room was flooded, the power is out, and the water got up to the third row in the Ford Theater. A new report just updated says there's now just an inch of water in the lowest levels. The museum is closed but the spokeswoman didn't say anything about the archives, and said "it's a much brighter day than yesterday".

Subject: [78-L] Nashville CMHoF Flooded??

I've been watching some of the reports about the flooding in Nashville,
but for the first time I heard specifically that the Country Music Hall
of Fame was flooded. Anybody know any specifics? In the old building
(far away from the river) the library and archive was in the basement,
but I haven't been in the new building (much too close to the river) yet
to know if they used a similar layout. Have also heard that the
Opryland Hotel was flooded, which might mean that the Opryhouse and
studios was also hit. Nobody has mentioned the Ryman yet.
