[78-L] E-bay-Seller Confusion About Lacquers and Test Pressings

Too many times on E-bay, I have encountered sellers describing a
lacquer as a “test pressing” and a single 78 as an “album” as though it
were an LP. To me, these are red flags to avoid. Clearly, the seller
doesn’t know what he/she is selling! Equally annoying are sellers who
describe their 78s as “rare” or “mega rare.” This isn’t just sales
hype; it’s product ignorance!
