It is fascinating that the Berliner records belonged to the seller's
grandmother's maid!! If she bought them new, the maid must have been
very well paid. But the records listed -- and most Berliner titles at
the time, were rather low-class entertainment.

On offer here are FIVE RARE EMIL BERLINER TRUE GRAMOPHONE DISCS DATED
FROM 1895 TO 1899. The titles are:

E2148 Soldiers of the Queen 11-8-95 London Sung by M? Bowell
E6276 Narcissus Banjo Duet 25-5-98 London Mayo & Hunter
E2195 Little Alabama Coon 12-16-98 London Sung by Mr Burt Shepard
-3080 Soldiers in the Park 1-18-99 London Solo & Chorus - no
artists' names
-4056 Chin Chin Chinaman 1-18-99 London Sung by The Georgia Glee
Singers
