[78-L] Record shipping question

I know we've talked about shipping records many times on this list.  I know how to pack them safely but about how many would you put safely in a box before you decide to use 2 boxes?  I've received and shipped many records but I have never received or shipped more than about 20 or so records at a time.  I need to ship someone 31 records.  I'm thinking of splitting it up into 2 boxes.  However, I'm thinking that making 2 separate record "sandwiches" and putting in the same box will probably be fine.  What is your experience?
