[78-L] News story: New store -- 78s only!

I'd wait and see exactly what they will be selling...and for how much! The

with some blues records included (usually VERY expensive...?!).

The harsh reality is that the 78's many of us enjoy and collect...the
dance musicand jazz of the 1916-35 era...is no longer that common!
As the chap notes in the article, the vast majority of 78's encountered
these days are the postwar pop sort; I suspect that most of us have
all the discs of this sort that we want...?! I'll still buy this stuff as 
long
as it is VERY cheap...somewhere, there may be people who might
enjoy listening thereunto?

Some 20-25 years ago, we had a "78 store" here in Toronto; most of
its stock was too expensive for me, although I did find a few I thought
worth buying. The place eventually went under financially, and another
collector acquaintance of mine bought the store's stock rather cheaply.
The last I knew, he was still selling it off in bunches at CAPS meetings...!
