[78-L] 1st Family and Sam Goody

I was working at Sam Goody's 49th St Store (the main store) the day that Kennedy was shot.
It was almost silent throughout the shop except for the radio announcing the news.

Sam Goody himself immediately pulled all the copies of the First Family from the bins and put them in the back room. A couple of days later someone wanted a copy and a salesman went into the back and got one. When Goody saw it, he pulled it out of the customer's hand and would not sell it under any circumstances.
