I acquired a fair number of new-ish CD's from Dollarama (a Toronto-area $1
store chain) for $1 each! Most of their CD's are classical collections...but 
I
found a fair number of vintage jazz reissues as well! IIRC, many of the CD's
were on a "Hindsight" label.

A number of years ago, I bought 15-20 "remaindered" Alligator blues 
cassettes
for $1 each at another $1 store...!
