..And your big blue Columbia of the Four Prominent Bastards, too.
I've been meaning to ask about a questionable entry in Bell's wankerpedia article supposedly taken from a spoken intro to one of his albums:
His first record, "The Alimony Blues" (backed with "Fast Asleep on a Mountain"), for Plaza Records on December 16, 1929[2] was a comical song about preferring to spend time in jail rather than pay alimony.
It doesn't appear in any real listing to which I have access.

I like dirty records just as much as you! In fact, Glenn, Isent him a really REALLY neat 1943 advertisement for Majestic PartyRecords from Record Retailing just the other day -- an ad that was moreout in the open than all of the records on that label combined! I'mwaiting for him to put it on line! Actually your message to me was notall that far fetched because I was the one who reported Benny Bell'sfirst known Novelty issue, 403, which seems to predate his other work byseveral years except for his one Victor recording.
