Just realized that the pasted white paper is on the inside of the
gatefold flap which explains the extra paper seen on the right side.
So, is there anything printed on the pocket, and are there label holes
there on one or both sides?

I happen to also have the specific record you have posted. Could you
also post or send me the sleeve and label scans for the other one you
got? Which side does the gatefold cover hinge on? Your scan of the
inside looks like there is extra red paper on the right side. Wouldn't
it open with the hinging on the left like a English language book? Is
the pocket opening at the top? Is the paper color red? The scan of the
cover looks pink. Did the paper fade or is it as I suspect a lighting
or flash overexposure? And are there any printings on the other two
surfaces?
And credit is being given to sources of info and photos.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! These scans will be a wonderful addition to my
anti-Steinweiss presentation at ARSC in New Orleans in May. It further
puts to rest the asinine notion that prior to him, records were marketed
in plain brown wrappers.

I just came into possession of two of these records, both William
Jennings Bryan records, 5225 & 5226. Since there was a comment by
someone on the thread that they thought they were in special sleeves I
thought I'd point you to the pictures I've posted.

They came in gatefold sleeves with "Christmas Greetings" on the front
and the words to the prayer on the inside front.

Ok I found it from an old Newsclipping on line: The blurb mentions those
1923 Christmas Greetings were
from:
Bebe Daniel, William Jenning Bryan, Wilbur Nesbit, Kin Hubbard, Sid
Smith(Andy Gump)
Meredith Nicholson, Shirley Mason, and Mitzie Harjos.
GREAT GENNETT SELLER.
The Gennett Christmas Greeting records were
among the biggest sellers in records in the week be-
fore Christmas . The "Ten Gifts That Actually Speak
Your Christmas Greetings " as the advertising so
aptly announced, offered a choice that was considered
a boon by a vast number of holiday shoppers. In
them the holiday spirit was voiced by famous authors,
humorists and stage folk. The ten greeting records
included numbers by Bebe Daniels, William Jen-
nings Bryan, Wilbur D. Nesbit, Kin Hubbard, Sid
Smith (Andy Gump), Meredith Nicholson, Shirley
Mason and Mitzi Hajos
