[78-L] Autographs ^

I am happy to have in my stuff a check for $25 written by Moe Howard 
of the 3 Stooges. BUT -- what makes it extra special is that it is 
written to his daughter Joan Maurer and has her endorsement on the 
back. I know that has not much to do with 78s, but I just thought I mention it.

While I'm on an off topic roll, I always liked the suggestion that 
Alex Lester, deejay from 2 AM to 5 AM GMT/ BST  on BBC Radio 2 came 
up with. Its going up to a celebrity and offering them YOUR 
autograph. Reports of this on his show have shown that most take it 
in a total spirit of fun and say, "sure what the hell!". Others -- 
well ... don't see the humour.
