[78-L] Jean Sablon

Jean Sablon was mentioned in the context of Bing Crosby. Two of his 
records that I have enjoyed feature pianist Garland Wilson. They are: 
Columbia 4174 M Un Seul Covert, Please, James/Ces Petite Chose; and 
Columbia 4175 M  Si Tu M’aimes/Le Chant des Tropiques. Ironically, Dick 
Todd, “The Canadian Crosby,” recorded better tunes for Bluebird than 
Crosby did for Decca. There is a Todd two-disc reissue set in the 
Bluebird LP series.
