The Dinning Sisters also made appearances on the Grand Ole Opry. In fact they're on the NBC portion of the Opry on its 25th anniversary, n November 1950.

One of them has a son, Steve Ludke of New Jersey who is a great bluegrass banjo picker.

The Monroe Brothers never appeared on the National Barn Dance; they were, however, square dancers on the Barn Dance tours.

There are CD reissues of the complete Monroe Brothers but I forget the label.

After Bill and Charlie Monroe parted ways, Charlie continued his own career with a string band. Bill, of course, became the Father Of Bluegrass Music.
