[78-L] Catch of the Day

At the CAPS (Toronto) meeting this afternoon, someone brought a copy of the
very rare TAC (Theatre Arts Committee) disc of "Abraham Lincoln" b/w "Joe Hill"
sung by Michael Loring. I have this reissued on Keynote but hadn't seen it on
the TAC label, which credits Musicraft with recording the masters and has the
printers' union logo (Local 292) on the label as well. Solidarity forever.
That's not the catch..the seller also brought, as part of the same lot, the
sheet music for both songs, AND....a brochure. For TIMELY Records. With all 6
of the cartoon illustrations for the Brecht-Eisler-Blitzstein songs (and The
Internationale and The Soup Song). And I was the only bidder.

What's that? My phone is tapped, you say?
