Glad you discovered Svend, who, on the other hand, is a household name for
every fan of jazz violin, both sides of the Atlantic lake.
And who is, not was. He has been active, both performing and recording, ever
since the 1950's and recorded his last album (in the US) early 2009.
And he's been mentioned here, on the list, every time there's a discussion
about "Oldest Jazz Musicians". Sven celebrates his 94th birthday in
February.
