[78-L] Kate Smith stamp

Susan Boyle should fare better than Smith did. She is one of a few singers who have had to overcome, shall we say, less than desirable physical attributes, to become a star. Boyle's new CD is becoming a huge hit. It kind reminded me of Smith and Ella Fitzgerald, who used their talent to overcome not having starlet good looks.
