[78-L] Question about insurance

Recently, I noticed that I'd completed 8,000 transactions on eBay since I
started in 1999....mostly records, but also books, art, post cards,
photographs, sheet music, clothes, etc. etc.
I decided to review my Feedback just to see if there were any sellers I'd
lost touch with, and noticed that a number of sellers I used to work with
are "no longer registered" with eBay...including Der Willy, jazzeroo,
badinfluance (their spelling) and several others.
You don't need AmEx with your Pay Pal in order to cancel a payment and get
your money back. If you complain about getting the shaft from some seller,
Pay Pal is right on it. I only had to do that once but it worked.
Thanks to all for your feedback on this matter. Since it wasn't my
transaction, I won't mention the seller's name..suffice to say that he
reacted first by assuming that he couldn't possibly have made a mistake,
and then by belittling my friend for reporting him to Pay Pal.
