There's a great Maria Muldaur CD that was issued in 2006, although I just got a copy recently. It's purportedly a CD for children, but many of the songs are remakes of classics from the '20s, '30s & '40s, including "Swingin' on a Star," "Aba Daba Honeymoon," "Cooking Breakfast for the One I Love," "Singin' in the Rain," "At the Codfish Ball," "On the Sunny Side of the Street," "Mocking Bird Hill," and Jimmie Rodgers' "Prairie Lullaby." Great assistance from folks like David Grisman, Dan Hicks, Roy Rogers (the blues slide guitarist), and others. This is a great CD for children as well as grown-ups. CD is called "Songs for the Young at Heart" on EarthBeat! R2-74541.
