I'm wondering if this is just a re-labeling of a 6-disc box set on
Washington Records that was available for many years through outlets
like Publishers Central Bureau. They also issued an abbreviated version
on two separate LPs. The box was purple, and the two LPs had a red
cover on one and a blue cover on the other.

Here is a picture of the box set (which I just bought on a Buy-It-Now.
Thanks for reminding me I don't have the box, only the singles, and
giving me the reason to look it up!!!!)

My collection of FDR speeches came from a multi-disc (LP) set issued by
the
AFL-CIO. Got the discs while library director at Yankton College. They
came as a gift from the union. I copied the LPs onto open reel tapes,
and
then to cassettes. On the set are 32 of his speeches and some "fireside
chats." The last one is delivered by his son.
