[78-L] classical stuff

Thanks. I've also have another HMV six (12") record set of the Brahms
Symphony No.1 in C Minor by the Vienna Philharmonic under Wilhelm
Furtwangler.\
Again with those curious ( to me) little stickers on each disc. As I recall
these were bought in Amsterdam circa 1963 or so, maybe earlier.
Wonderful surfaces. All these HMV sets came in plain green albums with
nothing on them, not even on the spine. There is a tax stamp on one of the
sides.

While we're on the subject of classical recordings I'm sitting on some 300
or so classical LP's , many of them of, so called, definitive performances
that I'm starting, in my dotage, to begin thinking about getting to some
deserving collector.
LP's as we all know are a drug on the market and I don't think they're worth
much money but I still would like to get them to somebody who would
appreciate them at a fair, nominal price.. They'd have to be picked up from
my home in New Jersey, USA.
If anybody on this list is interested let me know.

Al S.
