The simple (and harsh) reality is this...e-mail, in spite of its
"emoticons," is a VERY
bad and incomplete way to communicate! I always use the same example...!
Say you meet an old buddy in an imbibery...?! Your comment will very likely
be,
"You sonovabitch! What are you up to?!"
Then, the next day, you meet the same guy...but now with your wife! In a
COMPLETELY different tone of voice, you now say... "You sonovabitch!
What are you up to?!"
Exact same words when typed...but NOT the same sentiments!!
