[78-L] how far would you go...

(a) I'd better really need it.

(b) I'd try and trade for it first.

(c) As for (a) plus being able to charge it to whoever I was doing the reissue for.

I've gone to $50 a few times in cash purchases. Higher if trading was possible 
(the Laurel & Hardy disc was $300, but in trade).

By the same token, I've bought $1 records that have turned out to be fabulous 
traders, and a Barbara Lea Riverside ten-incher I picked up in mint condition 
at a rummage sale last year went for huge bucks on eBay.
