[78-L] Capitol's Prep Subsidiary

An interesting item just come across my bytes, 78 on the Prep label 
by Ray Stevens from 1957. From what I can tell, Prep was a subsidiary 
of Capitol. One of its first signings was Mamie Van Doren, who is 
better known as Mrs Ray Anthony in some circles.

Anyway, I can't tell how long they lasted. It seems that the label 
lasted until sometime in 1958. As to 78s on the label -- well, at 
least this one (F 122-Five More Steps b/w Tingle) via Capitol of Canada.

Anyone know anymore?
