Meriden H-8, GEORGE HENRY with Orchestra (label image), gives mx V1100 on label.
This fits into the Varsity V-1000 series.
H-13 is 1092 (poss. same series, with V omitted ?).
H-15 is mx A-9001 ; label states "unbreakable...".

Varsity 101 has mx (on label) V1001; 138 has V1102; 5002 has V1009 (examples).
But there are several other mx series. For ex., a Txxx series, which goes into the 1000s

Nooo, Obie was the puppet master. Meriden was a very small operation, maybe 8 presses in all.
New Jersey Plastics in Newark was the main plant. Harmony was a unique co-op venture with CBS,
which was totally embarassed when Eli scored a major hit with "The Huckle Buck."
