[78-L] Asch release

I went to go check my Jerry Jerome Trio set (number 359) and it was Stinson, not Asch.  This just came in from a good sized collection I picked up with a lot of stuff like this and reissue jazz.  I hadn't listened to this set yet but when I looked at it I noticed there were two songs with the same matrix number, 511.  Anyway, the set visually is in E condition but listened to a couple sides and they are very noisy pressings.  Is this typical?  Maybe a different sized stylus would help.

I found the following Asch matrix numbers for 1944-early 1945:

601-608 Jerry Jerome 28-2-44
651-656, 662 Mary Lou Williams 12-3-44 (Asch 450)
688 Sonny Terry-Guthrie &c (Asch 432-2-A)
710-715 Mary Lou Williams 10-8-44
716 Poems by Langston Hughes (Asch 4542)
728-732, 746 Meade Lux Lewis 18-8-44
736-742 Stuff Smith 8-9-44
760-767 Kirby - poss 26-9-44 [26-4-45]
780-784 Mary Lou Williams & Josh White (Asch 2001) 11-12-44
790-796 Hawkins 11-1-45
819-824 Jerry Jerome 7-11-44

This agrees with the Sep 44 date for Kirby.
But how about Jerry Jerome mxs 819-824 on 11/7 (7 Nov) 44? Misreading for 2/7 (7 Feb) 45?

My copy of Delaunay automatically falls open at the page listing this session.
And this FINALLY proves that it couldn't possibly have been recorded April 26,
1945. My contention was that nearby matrix numbers put it in mid 1944, and
handwritten notes say "possibly September /44" and "9/44 misread as 4/44".
