[78-L] Question for you folks...?!

Okeh...I'm going through a stack of "junk" 78's...! One of these is on the
"Angel" label...shown as "Made In Canada" and credited to:
"Electric and Musical Industries (U.S.) Ltd." The contents are French-
language recordings, bearing matrix numbers(?!) CL9805/9806, and credited
to: "Tino Rossi," "Orchestre dir. Pierre SPIERS"(their caps!). Catalog 
number
is ANG.C52.040 !

This would seem to be a Canadian (re?)issue of European recordings 
(France?!).
Does anybody have the date on the actual issue of these sides?
