I wonder if they had trouble finding a plant to replicate discs that long?
Biddulph produced a couple that pushed 82 minutes back in the 90s and not every
machine could play them.
Did BF already issue all the Standard Transcriptions? I contacted Mr. Weize
about these years ago when I ran across a near complete run of them in Detroit
and he said they already had them in mind.

A lavish, full-color hardback book with an essay by Douglas B. Green is included. The set is advertised as "The Complete Commercial Recordings" of these fine acts, but this is a misnomer - alternate takes are included on many songs, but issued takes are not. Still, it's a terrific sounding and looking set. I provided a few test pressings for the box. The set includes recordings made for Decca and ARC.
