[78-L] Zonophone/ Harry Lauder Speed

That version of Roamin' in the Gloamin' was recorded March 28, 1911, and 
another take made the same day was issued as HMV 02320 and D-397. He recorded 
it for Victor six months later on 60105/45209 (ten-inch) and 70061/55129 
(twelve-inch, single and double sided respectively), so a comparison with any 
of those versions..or with the 1926 electrical (Victor 9012, HMV D-1277) since 
his voice didn't change much over the years..should give you the right pitch. 
The other side may have been recorded much later since D-600 Zonophone numbers 
go into the 1920s and I haven't found that side listed yet.

Correction..it was recorded December 18, 1910 and the matrix number is 12973e, 
not 12978e. I don't know that song.
