Some molds and mildews are killed by exposure to direct sunlight. Setting
a few records outside for an hour or so might be worth a try. We had about
100 such records, and it worked fine - it was like grilling hamburgers, but
using the sun. Afterward, we just rubbed the dead residue off with old
towels.
