www.wtkm.com streaming radio station out of Hartford, Wisconsin with host, blind DJ Greg Drust, formerly an award winning Blues DJ in Santa Barbara, CA, will begin a ROMY GOSZ RADIO SERIES spinning all 78rpm releases by Bohemian style polka trumpet legend Romy Gosz to commemorate what would have been Romy's 99th Birthday. 11:30am-Noon C.D.T. on August 1, 2009.
Included are at least two Broadway label 78s released as the Paul Gosz's Orchestra in 1931, which was Romy's first recording session in the Grafton, Wisconsin studio, and are like chick's teeth to find even here in Wisconsin.
Another all 78rpm records program is scheduled on the same radio station website at the same time period on August 29, 2009 to memorialize Romy Gosz' passing in 1966.
