Sound Forge has an FFT tool that does a spectrum analysis of a 
selected portion of a sound file and produces a graph showing 
amplitude vs. frequency. It also tells you which frequency has the 
largest amplitude. I use this for pitch correction whenever I 
remaster a record. Sound Forge is an expensive piece of software to 
use for just this purpose, but perhaps you already have it.
