"Stephen C. Bra?"  I'm sorry,  I can't support that!

How about the stores which just have little pictures on the cash register of 
the  Fries,  Cokes,  Big Mucks,  etc.?  Now you not only don't need to know 
math,  you don't even need to recognize numbers themselves.

I could be like Beanie and scream "Help,  Cecil,  help!'  but I fear no one 
is going to rescue me/us from a lot of this dumbing-down.
